To make the building more accessible and usable we have:- * restructured and redecorated the internal layout to make it a more adaptable space. * re-roofed the whole building. * replaced and redecorated the kitchen. * constructed a new disabled access from Dundee Lane whilst retaining the original entrance steps and path. * completely refurbished the toilets.
We are planning to install a glazed partition at the rear of the church, creating an ante-room with doors into the main body of the church. This will create an area that can be used as a separate room, a gathering area, a coffee lounge or an overflow to the worship area . This will enable us to have more activities such as coffee mornings, craft groups, demonstrations, parties etc. Making it a more flexible building for the community.
We have carried out all this work as a part of our vision to be more of a practical support and spiritual influence to the community in which we are set. We continue to explore how we can develop our styles of worship and deepen the personal spirituality of our fellowship.
